Help Carolina Chem-Strip Grow

Carolina Chem-Strip owner Ronnie Stallings' love of cars is what got his company off the ground.  Eager to be involved in the automotive industry, he began helping area commerical finishers strip auto bodies.  A short time later, when Honda opened a plant in nearby Swepsonville, NC, they asked Carolina Chem-Strip to clean their coating racks.  "They were the first ones to make me think.... paint racks, hmmmm," Stallings mused.  Painting, coating and finishing are pervasive in the manufacturing of all types of products.  This thinking and Ronnie's natural ambition helped turn his small one-man shop into a multi-plant operation.
Today, the company offers full-service stripping with the motto: All the stripping, all the shipping.  Their Burlington, NC plant's stripping operation includes a 30,000-plus square foot shop.  The company also has a 10,000 square foot fabrication shop to make parts, tooling and coating hangers.  Their Fountain Inn, SC plant was built to service the needs of a nearby automotive manufacturing plant.

Instrumental in the company's growth and capabilities has been Pollution Control Products Co.  Equipped with 12 Pollution Control Burn-Off ovens, Carolina Chem-Strip offers 24-hour turnaround to a wide variety of industries, from original equipment manufacturers to job shops, including the time-sensitive production lines of powder coaters and plastics processors.  One of their most recent oven acquisitions is the largest manufactured to date by Pollution Control.  Measuring 30 feet long with a stripping capacity of over 2,600 cubic feet, this huge oven was originally designed to clean large oil field equipment and parts.  However, it has expanded its utility, becoming a major workhorse for large-volume stripping, dramatically expanding the company's operating capacity

When asked why he chose Pollution Control Burn-Off ovens, Stallings cites their unequalled service and manufacturing experience.  He gives high marks to their Service staff -- they keep their ovens running.  Pollution Control's vast manufacturing experience and thousands of satisfied customers is another big plus.  Pollution Control's knowledge of the marketplace and their reputation have helped Carolina Chem-Strip find new customers and build their business.
